Recording and editing Levi and Angelina’s wedding was very touching. They are a sweet couple whose love bubbled close to the surface. It’s extra enjoyable to shoot a wedding where the couple are fun-loving and easy-going.
The bride and groom preps both took place at Weber’s Inn.
The ceremony was at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. I always enjoy experiencing different types of rituals involved in ceremonies. An important part of the ceremony involved the couple walking around the altar while connected with jeweled crowns.
My favorite part of the video is right after the cake cutting around 6:00 minutes where Angelina’s brother shouts “Hey Levi, I’m glad I didn’t kill ya!” and laughs heartily. Protective brothers are the best.
Moments before Levi got his “first look” at Angelina.
This candid expression was caught during their portrait session after the ceremony at the church.
The triumphant Staffords after a long wedding day. They look ready to get to the reception here after all the portraits were done at the church.
A shot captured just after the bridal party entrance before the cake cutting in the Atrium Room at Weber’s Inn. I loved how the newlyweds made their entrance to the Star Wars theme.
This is an example of an HD single shooter package and involved a very typical 12p to 11p shooting schedule.
Videographer’s note — the bride and groom don’t have spoken vows in a Greek Orthodox wedding. I only used a microphone on the priest. Be warned that the priest doesn’t speak at a typical level during the ceremony. The chanting is quite powerful and the mic should be gained down or positioned lower than normal.
