It started with a pleasant three plus hour drive up to Petoskey and ended as one of my favorite wedding video shoots ever. Vito and Jessica are super cool to work with. Their venue, The Perry Hotel, was fantastic.
Enjoy this short highlight video and a few stills of their amazing day.
During our photo shoots we visited many beautiful locations around the waterfront, but a highlight for me was at the Petoskey Fire Station where an employee let us in the garage and allowed some photos around the engines. He also suggested that Jess and Vito get in the ladder bucket, but there was one catch. Jess had to trust-fall out of the bucket since it’s practically impossible to walk out of the tiny metal door with a wedding dress on. I was nervous for her, but she pulled it off flawlessly.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
Thanks to Tatum Photography for being great to work with as well. I like to watch other pros doing what they do.
I also got to use my Canon 6D with the 24-105 extensively on this shoot. I think it turned out amazing. It’s very sharp and the consistency of the light through the focal length is stunning.
